Morning Quest Supplies

A short list of practical supplies that can make your Morning Quest checklists reusable, durable, and easy for children to mark each morning.

You do not need to buy everything on this page. If you already have a printer and regular letter-size paper, the simplest reusable setup only needs a clear page protector and a dry-erase marker.

Choose the setup that works for your family

Morning Quest is designed to work with ordinary home supplies. These two approaches are the easiest ways to reuse the same checklist day after day.

Simplest and least expensive

Clear page protector setup

Print the checklist on standard 8.5 × 11 inch paper, slide it into a clear sheet protector, and let your child check off each quest with a dry-erase marker.

Most durable

Laminated checklist setup

Laminate a favorite checklist and reuse it for weeks or months. This works especially well when a child wants to keep the same design for a while.

Standard clear letter-size pouches work well for protecting printed checklists. A larger pack also leaves plenty for school papers, recipes, activity sheets, and other projects.

You probably already have the paper you need

Regular white 8.5 × 11 inch printer paper works well. There is no need to buy specialty paper for Morning Quest. Once the sheet is inside a protector or laminating pouch, the paper itself does not need to be especially heavy.

Optional printer recommendation

If you already own a color printer, keep using it. Buying another printer just for Morning Quest would be unnecessary. This recommendation is mainly for families who already need a new home printer and expect to print colorful pages regularly.

Optional

Epson EcoTank ET-2800 Color All-in-One Printer

The refillable ink-tank design makes this a sensible option for families that print frequently and want to avoid constantly replacing small ink cartridges. It prints in color and also includes scanning and copying.

Morning Quest does not require any specific brand or product. These recommendations are simply examples of supplies that work well with the system. Similar products you already own should work just as well.
